Kentucky Tourism College Travel Campaign

The goal of this project was to determine why the millennial generation does not participate in tourism related events and destinations in Kentucky. This study required research resulting in a few key issue: lack of knowledge. We determined the most appropriate way to reach this audience was through a social media campaign involving Twitter and Instagram, as well as, a campus outreach using partnerships through Student Activities/Affairs and local Convention and Visitors Bureaus. This presentation includes use of tools like campus booths, example social media posts, and a sample “bucket list” as a giveaway. Enjoy!
